چکیده
Purpose: To assess the recurrence and birth rates among patients with non-epithelial ovarian cancer. Methods: The study included 146 germ cell (GCT, n = 84) sex cord-stromal tumors (SCST, 62), who underwent fertility-sparing surgery. Adjuvant chemotherapy was administered to 86 (58.9%) patients. Most cases (133 out of 146) were staged FIGO I. Results: 5- 10-year disease-free survival 91% 83%, respectively. risk not associated tumor histology, stage or age. Twenty-four months after treatment, rate higher than childbearing. childbearing kept rising treatment exceeded 2 years. cumulative incidence 36, 60 120 13.24%, 20.75%, 42.37%, Chemotherapy related patients’ age chance Conclusions: prognoses GCT SCST are similar. Close follow-ups along contraception should be offered women during first two years due increased recurrence. After this period, relapses rare can safely become pregnant.

Fertility sparing surgery in early stage epithelial ovarian cancer
OBJECTIVE Fertility sparing surgery (FSS) is a strategy often considered in young patients with early epithelial ovarian cancer. We investigated the role and the outcomes of FSS in eEOC patients who underwent comprehensive surgery. METHODS From January 2003 to January 2011, 24 patients underwent fertility sparing surgery. Eighteen were one-to-one matched and balanced for stage, histologic typ...

She underwent laparoscopic transabdominal cervical cerclage (LTCC) for cervical cancer. The surgery was successful and she was discharged two days later. The ...
